Enclosure No.10.

I hereby certify that I have truly and accurately
plotted the positions of the Chinese Maritimes Cruiser
"CHAH SING" and the Japanese Destroyer from 2.20 p.m.
onwards on December 11th, 1937, according to the statement
of Captain Cook, the Commander of the Cruiser "CHAH SING"
dated December, 13th, 1937, on the Charts attached.
I have examined and verified the positions according
to the entry made in the Cruisers Log Book and Captain Cook
has agreed and confirmed the positions shown on the Chart
in my presence.
There are two discrepencies in the positions at 2.20
p. m. of these vessels.
The approximate position of the
"CHAH SING" at 2.20 p.m. was Lat. 20 25'18" North, Long.
113 54′23′′ East, that is 015 distance 8.3 cables from

Book.
The courses steered have not been recorded in the Log
The name YUNG LUNG WAN, where the Customs Cruiser was
be ached has been obtained from the Police Authorities as there
is no name given to this village on the Admiralty Chart.
The positions of the Customs Cruiser "CHAH SING" are
approximate; those of the Japanese Destroyer very approximate.
The Northern and Western boundaries of the waters of
the Colony have been marked on these charts insofar as they
relate to the positions of these two vessels.
